COVID-19
Safety Measures

As a result of the ongoing global pandemic we have undertaken a risk assessment to ensure our clients and staff are as safe as possible whilst inside the salon. We have complied with government regulations regarding social distancing within the salon and have installed protective screens where necessary. Our beauty and hair professionals are trained to a high standard with a full understanding of infection control principles. We are fully prepared to mitigate potential risks and have a duty of care to make our salon as safe as can be. We are passionate about your safety and ask that you familiarise yourself with the points below prior to your appointment.

  • Please arrive to your appointment on time as we will be unable to offer a waiting area for you.

  • If you are running late for your appointment, please call the salon to let us know.

  • If you display any COVID-19 symptoms prior to your appointment please contact us to cancel your appointment .

  • You must wear a mask or face covering when visiting the salon. If you have booked a hair appointment, please ensure you wear a mask that secures behind your ears and not at the back of your head. If you do not have a mask, we can provide one for you at a small cost.

  • If you have an underlying health condition that prevents you from wearing a mask or face covering, please call the salon to discuss before booking an appointment online and we will do our best to accommodate you.

  • You must attend your appointment on your own, and we kindly ask that you do not bring children with you to your appointment.

  • If you have a booked a hair appointment for your child (Under 16), they may come with one adult for supervision.

  • We will provide hand sanitiser upon entry to the salon - you must use this when you arrive to your appointment, and before leaving the premises.

  • A plastic bag will be provided for you if you bring a Jacket/Handbag along to your appointment. You must put your Jacket/Handbag into the plastic bag to avoid any cross contamination. We will dispose of the plastic bag at the end of your appointment.

  • We are encouraging our clients to use contactless payments where possible to avoid cash handling however cash will be accepted if this is your preferred method of payment.

  • The Salon door will be closed to prevent walk-ins and to limit the number of people in the Salon at any one time – the door will be opened and closed by a member of staff. Please be mindful of social distancing if you are early and have to wait outside before your appointment.

  • Disposable gowns, gloves and aprons will be used for each client and disposed of after your appointment.

Following government guidelines we have implemented all necessary safety and hygiene measures to provide a high level of confidence to you. For further peace of mind, our hairdressers, beauty therapists and nail technicians will wear full PPE. All staff at Orchard Grange Beauty have completed Barbicide certification and are fully equipped to disinfect the salon between clients. A daily deep clean will be standard practise at close of business. If you have any questions related to our COVID-19 practises please contact us.
